Full Job Description

Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area. We work in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors. We provide the foundation to introduce some of the most sophisticated memory and storage technology to the world! We supervise tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to resolve equipment issues. ## **Responsibilities:** * Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process * Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings * Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. * Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required * May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers ## **Minimum Qualifications:** * Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments including night shift * Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment * Basic understanding of SPC principles * Knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis * Knowledge of algebraic concepts, data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills ## **Preferred Qualifications:** * Education in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent w
