Will you help shape the future of intralogistics? Movu Robotics has 2 types of 4 way shuttles, "Movu atlas" and "Movu escala". Both products work in a very similar manner but handle load weights of a different order of magnitude (1500 kg vs 45 kg). The current designs have been developed by 2 separate design teams and therefore are inherently completely different. Main issues The different approaches to the same solution offer an opportunity to compare concepts and apply the same solution for both vehicle ranges. That way we only have to perfect one concept rather than 2. Solution idea Starting from the current Escala shuttle, scale up the design to the size and capacity of an atlas shuttle. The aim is to change as little as possible to the concept so that we have a 1 on 1 comparison between both in cost as well as in capabilities. It will also show where the limits of a concept lie and where we need to pivot and adjust. ## Qualifications Who are we looking for? A motivated thesis student with a hands-on mindset, strong problem-solving skills and an interest in industrial automation, robotics and product development.
