Hearing sufficient to recognize warnings, Stereoptic vision 20/40 or better, Peripheral vision 70 degrees or greater, Ability to read 10-12 point font, Ability to complete Isihara color vision test, Ability to lift 45 pounds, Ability to lift 45 pounds over shoulder height, Able to work in extremes of heat/cold, Able to work independently, Verbal communication adequate to use radio/paging, Able to work with others, Knowledge on mechanical systems, Able to accept responsibility for work, Basic trouble shooting skills, Able to work at heights, Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness, High School diploma or GED equivalent, Able to participate in apprenticeship program

What You'll Do.
Inspect and repair pneumatic systems
Inspect and repair hydraulic systems
Inspect and repair electronic systems
Inspect and repair electrical systems
Inspect and repair mechanical systems
Perform preventive maintenance procedures
Complete work assigned by Group Leader
Communicate activities with Group Leader
Communicate activities with department members
Maintain neat appearance of shop
Maintain neat appearance of equipment
Obtain parts in emergency cases
Assist in other departments
Seek training to stay current
Assume control of machine during hazardous situations
