Must Have
M. Sc. or Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Physics or related field, 5+ years of hands-on modeling and simulation experience in the semiconductor industry, understanding of thermal conduction and convective heat transfer methodologies, Deep knowledge of solid mechanics principles, Proficiency with simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or equivalent
Nice to Have
Experience with Ansys AEDT and Ansys Sherlock, Understanding advanced semiconductor packaging, Knowledge of common optical system specifications, Exposure to SOC thermal mechanical analysis, Exposure to optical structural analysis

Develop detailed FEA/CFD models
Correlate FEA results with experimental measurements
Improve model fidelity
Support simulation-driven design decisions
Perform warpage and deformation analysis
Develop thermal cycling and mechanical fatigue models
Predict long-term reliability
Identify mechanical risk drivers
Analyze failures related to electro-optical assembly design
Provide solutions for failures
Select materials and components
Perform Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Perform tolerance analyses
Develop end-to-end simulation workflows
Assess performance across diverse operating scenarios
Communicate results through technical reports
Communicate results through design reviews
Communicate results through executive level summaries
