Full Job Description

About Ubiquiti At Ubiquiti Inc., we create technology platforms for Businesses, Smart Homes, and Internet Service Providers, driven by our goal to connect everyone, everywhere. To date, Ubiquiti has shipped over 100 million devices worldwide, from ISP networking products to next generation of IT solutions. Our growth is made possible by the dedicated team of hundreds behind the scenes. From software developers and product managers to designers and strategists, Team UI is driven to achieve our common goal: Rethinking IT. At Ubiquiti, you’ll heighten your potential and broaden your horizons - all while shaping the future of connectivity. Role Summary As part of the PDSA (Product Design Simulation Analysis) Thermal team, you will be a key technical contributor shaping product direction through systems-level thermal engineering. You will lead thermal ownership from early concept planning and trade-offs to detailed implementation, working in tight collaboration with cross-functional partners. You will establish scalable evaluation methods and toolchains to assess thermal behavior across each stage of development. By translating user stories into measurable requirements and actionable design criteria, you will define an end-to-end thermal strategy and drive it to closure through data-driven modeling, simulation correlation, and targeted validation—reducing risk, improving predictability, and accelerating informed decisions. Responsibilities Own end-to-end thermal design from early concept/architecture trade-offs through detailed implementation. Translate user stories and platform power scenarios into thermal requirements, constraints, and success criteria. Drive early risk identification and design direction through data-driven analysis and simulation. Correlate simulation to validation results and continuously improve model fidelity and prediction confidence. Requirement Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years+
