As a Therapy Technician, you will: • Assist the therapist in treating patients • Transport patients to and from scheduled activities (teams, therapy, dining) • Ordering patient durable medical equipment for discharge • Inventory of supplies and documents • Communicating schedule changes to patients and families • Cleaning of equipment ( wheelchairs, durable medical equipment, mats) • Additional duties as assigned Qualifications include: • High School education and diploma or equivalent • 1 year of experience working with therapy (PT/OT/SLP) strongly preferred • Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule: ***Students who are looking to advance to PT/OT/ST/TR are encouraged to apply*** * **Employment Type:** Per Diem * **Typical Daily Schedule:** Minimum schedule commitment is at least 2 weekend shifts (8-10 hrs/day) or 5 weekday shifts per month.
