The department of Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Therapist, Licensed**.** The Therapist, Licensed coordinates and provides individualized case management, group therapy, and bio-psychosocial assessment services, including group counseling and psychoeducation. The incumbent demonstrates expertise in the development of client resources, individual counseling, discharge and continuing care planning, and client placement. **CORE JOB FUNCTIONS** * Relates to and interacts well with patients to meet their age-specific physical and psychosocial needs. * Interviews and evaluates patients to determine need and develops treatment plans accordingly. * Works in conjunction with multidisciplinary service teams to ensure implementation of coordinated psychosocial services. * Prepares progress notes, reports, and correspondence for assigned patients, and maintains case records. * Conducts ongoing individual and group psychoeducation and counseling sessions with patients. * Completes psychosocial evaluations, diagnoses psychological disorders, prepares comprehensive clinical summaries, and makes recommendations for treatment. * Interprets psychological or psychiatric case information based on patient interviews and medical or psychiatric sources. * Completes and maintains all required client-related and programmatic documentation. * Performs routine data collection tasks for studies. * Serves as program liaison to collaborating service providers and treatment centers. * Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards Univer
