S. citizenship is required., Secret - Current Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1, This role will require a US Expat to forward deploy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) under the terms of a Long-Term International Assignment Memorandum of Understanding (LTMOU)., Prior to deployment, the Radar Lead will serve as an AN/TPY-2 Hardware Technician at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM and may support at other locations to include Ft Bliss and Pelham, NH., The Hardware Technician may and will likely provide backfill support for other personnel assigned to deployed THAAD KSA Radars OCONUS with little notice., Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active and transferable U. S. government issued security clearance, U. S. citizenship, Secret - Current Security Clearance, 5+ years’ experience in the troubleshooting and operational checkout of TPY-2 systems, Experience in the planning, production, and management of technical systems, ADVANCED technical TPY-2 knowledge and proficiency
Nice to Have
Electrical or Computer Engineering degree or background, Previous work experience with Systems Engineering standard views such as Block Definition Diagrams, Context Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Working knowledge of Test Systems design, development, integration and verification activities across the product lifecycle, Experience performing testability analysis on circuit cards and other assemblies, Experience using the DSI eXpress Testability modeling software
What You'll Do.
Overseeing operations and maintenance of the AN/TPY-2 radar system
Performing radar system equipment inspections
Maintaining equipment in accordance with IETMs and Technical Orders
and leading a team of Field Engineers
and mentoring the KSA THAAD Radar team
Providing performance feedback
Ensuring Site Operating Procedures (SOP's) are adhered to
Attending and providing input to radar site related meetings and tag-ups
repairing & modifying TPY-2 equipment
Analyzing equipment failures and recommending corrective action
Advising & assisting in design changes
Supervising system performance using maintenance of system diagnostics software
Monitoring diagnostics to evaluate functionality
Restoring system to mission capability
Maintaining accurate Activity Log Reports and Inspection Test Records (ITRs)
Operating and supervising the ALCS program
Performing independent assessments
and special inspections
Monitoring radar diagnostics for anomalies
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Supervise, train and lead a team of 4 Field Engineers through day-to-day operations and THAAD maintenance.; Coach, train, develop and mentor the skill set of the KSA THAAD Radar team.; Provide performance feedback of their assigned team, to include accountability of team and individual goals.; Attend and provide input to radar site related meetings and tag-ups.
