Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, 5+ years of experience testing electrical control panels, switchgear, or similar equipment, ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams independently, Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, megger, hipot testers, relay test sets, etc. ), Working knowledge of low- and medium-voltage systems, Familiarity with UL 508A, UL 891, or similar standards, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, Must be authorized to work in the U. S. without sponsorship
Nice to Have
technical certification or associate degree preferred, Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field, Experience with protective relays (SEL, ABB, Schweitzer, etc. ) and relay testing software, Knowledge of PLC systems and basic programming/troubleshooting, Prior experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer interaction, NFPA 70E certification or formal electrical safety training, Experience with medium-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
What You'll Do.
Perform functional and electrical testing of switchgear
motor control centers (MCCs)
and control panels in accordance with engineering specifications

Conduct point-to-point wiring checks

Verify proper operation of protective relays
Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with internal teams and customers when required

Interpret and work from electrical schematics
Ensure all testing activities comply with safety standards (NFPA 70E
OSHA) and company procedures
Maintain accurate test reports
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality control
