What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. S. in electrical, computer engineering or related field, 3+ years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining test chambers and automated test and measurement equipment, Sound knowledge of electronics, electrical circuit fundamentals, Sound knowledge of EMIC standards, IEC & automotive standards or equivalent, Familiar with hardware development life cycle, Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, Passion for hands-on problem solving and avionics integration and test, Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs, Flexibility to support weekend shifts or non-standard hours may be required based on program needs
Nice to Have
5+ years of integrated test and operations experience (aircraft, launch vehicles, spacecraft, racing teams), Experience managing complex projects combining hardware, firmware, and software, Experience leading the development and testing of real-time embedded systems with a focus on modular and extensible architectures, Experience developing hardware to IPC J-STD-0001xS, IPC/WHMA-A-620x-S, and/or NASA-STD-8739. n standards, Experience with safety-critical systems development (automotive, aerospace, medical, etc. )

Facilitate transition of development avionics hardware into production

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for executing test campaigns in support of manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware. You will coordinate test system requirements with Avionics subsystem owners, integration and test engineers, and operations personnel. This hands-on position requires experience in developing and validating environmental and EMI/EMC test plans and executing test campaigns to produce reliable flight hardware for re-usable launch vehicles.
