What You'll Do.
and control the product development and modification of pump products and quality control activities of the standard product based on internal standards and customer
Perform hydraulic performance testing and electrical testing on motors and controls
Conduct Agency performance tests and reports
and serve as technical advisor to the operations team
Prepare technical data hydraulic curves and test report for both internal and external customers
Perform analysis of design or modification of product to meet customer specifications
Evaluate competitor’s designs
strengths & weaknesses via product analysis
Establish and maintain testing processes and standards for testing
Recommend product design changes based on observations and testing
Interact with manufacturing to resolve in-house product failures and production problems
Assist field service department with troubleshooting and developing action plans to resolve performance issues
Closely monitor and analyze test data to maintain quality of the current product line
Maintain proficiency in current testing technology and integrate into test lab
Assist and advise purchasing as well as implementation of new or modified lab equipment
Employ lean methodologies and tools to improve processes
