Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. ## **Department Overview** Test Developer, Appliances ## Job Description The appliance release readiness team at Motorola are responsible for **validating, automating, and performance testing platforms** that are used to deploy our world-class Avigilon Control Center software product and other cloud based technologies. Leverage your expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment, leading projects that make a real-world impact, and collaborating with a talented and supportive team. Join us at Motorola Solutions and be part of a team that's making a difference in the world of safety and security! **Responsibilities include:** * Define and continually**improve the quality** of Avigilon’s software and hardware products through the ownership and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test automation. * Work with other teams to ensure that Avigilon produces the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industry. * Design, measure, and report on the performance of various components of our system. * Proactively identify and develop strategies to mitigate performance bottlenecks. * **Conduct exploratory testing** on new features and platforms, specifically related to AI use cases. * Develop, document, and maintain internal tools to aid testing and development teams. * Lead the **verification of resolution** for complex defects and customer support issues. * Mentor junior team members and co-ops on technical skills and best practic
