What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of experience in building automation frameworks for mobile/web applications particularly social media or related app, High proficiency in testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation procedures, and QA Best Practices, Independently chalk out test plans based on requirements, Comfortable with iOS and Android testing environments, Ability to work in a fast paced development environment, Experience testing Agile/Scrum SDLC, and skill using tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage the lifecycle
Nice to Have
At least 3 years of Experience in testing applications across platforms iOS, Android, Web and Mobile Web, Experience with API testing, Experience working in a fast paced work environment where prod releases happen every week, scripting skills
What You'll Do.
Create and maintain automated test cases
reviews and diagnoses reported bugs
ensures overall system quality prior to a production release
and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback
Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Work closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans
test procedures and test reports
Estimate own testing tasks

We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer with solid iOS automation experience (Swift + XCUITest) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform. In this role, you’ll take ownership of automating test suites, maintaining stability across releases, and ensuring a smooth, high-quality user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with product and development teams, contribute to release testing, and continuously improve our internal automation framework.
