The Software and Data Systems group is responsible for bringing new test capability to Rolls-Royce and for maintaining reliable test equipment that Rolls-Royce depends on to pass certification and development testing. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a complex testing environment that will provide challenges with clear deadlines and unclear paths of how to get to the end result. **What you’ll be doing:** * Maintaining and developing in-house developed Data Acquisition System (DAS) and Universal Monitor and Control System (UMACS) * Interfacing UMACS to external devices such as an in-house developed data system and Allen-Bradley PLCs * Providing support for Gas Turbine and Component Test Stands * Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment * Applying technical principles, theories, and concepts to develop solutions to complex problems * Representing the company to external stakeholders as the authority of their test programs **Who we’re looking for:** * Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems usin
