Function - Customer Business Development (CBD) Work Level - 1A Reports to - Area Manager Location - Any territory across Bangladesh Terms & Conditions Full-time, permanent position. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Bangladesh. Relocation assistance may be provided depending on business needs. JOB PURPOSE This role exists to drive sustainable sales growth and strengthen Unilever’s market presence by building deep relationships with distributors, retailers, and field sales teams. As a Territory Manager, you’ll ensure operational excellence, product visibility, and category execution while developing and inspiring a high-performing sales force. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES a) Sales Target Achievement – Drive and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. b) Market Coverage – Ensure optimal outlet coverage and route optimization for sales representatives. c) Distributor Management – Oversee distributor performance, inventory, and financial hygiene. d) Retail Execution – Ensure product availability, visibility, and promotional compliance at retail. e) Team Supervision – Lead, train, and motivate field sales teams for high performance. f) Category Plan Execution – Ensure category plan implementation basis BU for plans shared across each MOC g) Compliance & Reporting – Ensure adherence to company policies and timely reporting of field activities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS a) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. b) Minimum 1–2 years of sales or distribution experience, preferably in FMCG/general trade. c) Proven ability to manage sales targets, distributors, or retail operations. d) Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS a) Prior experience leading or supervising a sales/field
