Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience, Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs, Waste or service industry experience, Valid driver’s license

What You'll Do.

Identify leads and prospect new business

Sell Republic Services products and services

Meet with clients to deliver sales presentations

Follow up with decision makers

Acquire profitable commercial

and recycling business

Maintain and retain existing customers

Build long-term relationships and customer loyalty

Follow up on leads within 2 hours

Perform contractual re-signs on existing customers

Respond to cancellation requests

Communicate with customers regarding pricing

Utilize Salesforce daily

Develop customer profiles

Prepare and deliver sales presentations

Complete scheduled phone blocks

Complete cold call prospecting

Capture customer emails

Minimize rate restrictions and customer credits

Maintain awareness of market behavior

Maintain awareness of competitive trends

Offer additional services to clients

Complete Customer Service Agreements

Complete reports and paperwork

Meet with Sales Manager regularly

Build relationships and increase company visibility

Participate in company-sponsored activities

Act as a Company representative at community events

Team & Collaboration

Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review activities and progress; Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities; Acts as a Company representative at community events

Deliver sales presentations; Follow up with key decision makers; Proactively communicates with or responds to customers
