What They're Looking For.
Must Have
CITB Temporary Works Co-Ordinator Training or Equivalent, Significant experience in the management, coordination and acceptance of all forms of temporary works, Demonstrable competence in Risk Management and Temporary Works Documentation and Processes, Detailed understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards, such as BS 5975 (parts 1 and 2) in the UK, Good knowledge of Interacting Legislation and Guidance – CDM, Working at Heights, LOLER, PUWER, Health and Safety at Work Act, Technical Awareness of Temporary Works Design and Engineering Principles, Ability to Ensure Safe Implementation on Site and competence in Records Assurance and Compliance
What You'll Do.
Managing temporary structures on construction sites
and effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle
Developing and implementing temporary works procedures
Coordinating with design engineers
Identifying potential risks associated with temporary structures and implementing mitigation measures
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
Maintaining records of temporary works designs
Overseeing the erection
and dismantling of temporary works
Performing inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols
Acting as the central point of contact for all temporary works-related matters
Providing training and briefings to site personnel
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and site teams; Work collaboratively with Delivery Leads, Package Managers, Engineers and Administrators; Contribute to the mission of safely and efficiently delivering Sellafield’s decommissioning and nuclear waste objectives; Work together to deliver on our promises; Support one another through a culture of care and collaboration; Embrace different perspectives and work together
