Full Job Description

We’re seeking a conceptually sharp Freelance Associate Creative Director to lead the vision and production for organic social content for our client, Magic: The Gathering. This role is built for a hands-on, visual creative leader who has genuine passion and experience with Magic, thrives in internet culture, has deep experience in video and static production, and excels in creating social-first content that sparks meaningful engagement. In other words, we are looking for a creative leader whose social mana is on curve. ;) This role requires a freelance associate creative director with a Design or Art Direction background, strong production experience and executional skills, genuine connection to Magic (through personal or professional experience) and an intense curiosity and passion for making organic social content that truly explodes on the algorithm. You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists and content creators to bring bold, social-first ideas to life, from high-performing social campaign content to one-off reactive content. This position is open to Los Angeles candidates. Local candidates only, no relocation provided. You will be required to be on-site at our Venice office location each week. This is a part-time freelance position at 8+ hours per week. There may be additional hours needed on occasion, particularly during production windows.
