We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Telematics Installer to join the crew. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining GPS tracking systems, dash cameras, sensors, and telematics hardware on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. This is hands-on work. We need somebody comfortable around wiring, tools, equipment, and problem solving in the field. **Responsibilities** * Install telematics devices such as GPS trackers, dash cameras, asset trackers, and sensors * Perform clean, professional wiring installations using fuse taps and proper routing methods * Diagnose power, ignition, CAN/OBDII, and communication issues * Test and verify device functionality through software dashboards and mobile apps * Troubleshoot offline or unresponsive devices * Remove and replace defective hardware * Work on a variety of assets including: * Pickup trucks * Dump trucks * Heavy equipment * Trailers * Service trucks * Communicate with operations teams for scheduling install or repairs * Follow safety procedures **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with: * 12/24V electrical systems * Automotive or heavy equipment wiring * Telematics systems (Software) * Dash camera installations * GPS tracking hardware * Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems * Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and stay organized * Clean driving record preferred * Experience with heavy equipment is a plus **What We’re Looking For** * Someone who takes pride in clean work * Reliable and self-motivated * Comfortable working in shop and field environments * Problem solver mentality * Professional attitude with strong communication skills **Pay & Benefits** * Pay based on experience * Opportunities for overtime * Company vehicle provided We’re not looking for somebody who just twists wires together and hopes for the best.
