Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe. **JOB SUMMARY** Responsible for maintaining and improving the Diagnostic department’s proficiencies and efficiency. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** · Diagnose and repair to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies that have had prior repair attempts by Diagnostic Technicians I & II, while maintaining minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies. · Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment. · Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following; Schematics, BOM’s, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures. · Assist Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program for improving the efficiency of the diagnosis of assemblies. · Understand, recognize and execute Jabil production requirements, rules, policies and procedures. · Frequent customer interface, including travel to customer sites for advanced diagnostic issues. · Recommend Diagnostic technicians staffing levels, and assist in recruiting. · Assist and train technicians in any issues of a technical nature. · Works on technical assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. · Determine document methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to other personnel. · Perform as a team member to achieve Diagnostic depar
