5+ years of experience supporting technology strategy, capability integration, or mission focused innovation, Experience evaluating technology ecosystems or system workflows to identify gaps or improvement areas, Experience supporting planning, governance, or policy discussions related to technology adoption, Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Knowledge of emerging digital capabilities, including AI informed tools or data enabled systems, and their potential mission applications, Ability to communicate technology concepts to senior leaders and non-technical audiences, Knowledge of command level operations, Command and Control (C2), or enterprise technology environments, TS/SCI clearance, Bachelor’s degree

Experience working with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Major Commands, Experience supporting USEUCOM or DoD missions in Europe, Experience with responsible technology adoption frameworks or digital transformation initiatives, Experience contributing to headquarters level planning efforts, such as coordinating inputs, supporting working groups, or framing issues for senior leader review, Knowledge of capability planning, mission integration, or operational process analysis, Master’s degree

Technology Strategist **The Opportunity:** Major Command headquarters environments constantly adapt to new mission demands, evolving operational concepts, and rapid changes in the technology landscape. As a Technology Strategist, you will help the headquarters understand and prepare for these shifts by examining current capabilities, assessing emerging needs, and supporting the development of practical strategies that strengthen the command’s ability to make informed, future focused decisions. You will support headquarters level technology planning, capability integration, and modernization efforts within a technology and innovation focused office. This role evaluates mission needs, identifies improvement areas, and develops recommendations that guide responsible adoption of emerging technologies and support long term organizational planning and decision making. In this role, you will contribute to the ideas, options, and strategic considerations that shape how the headquarters approaches command level technology, integration, and mission support. You will help frame issues, gather perspectives, and support discussions that guide senior leader decision making. While you are not responsible for engineering or development, you will help clarify the mission relevance of new or evolving technologies, including selected digital and data enabled capabilities, and assist in aligning them with operational priorities.
