Must Have

Project Management Experience, 8–12+ years of experience in IT project management, Proven track record delivering infrastructure, platform, or application change initiatives, Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects, Good understanding of technology lifecycles (hardware, software, OS, databases, middleware, cloud platforms), Familiarity with end-of-life, end-of-support, and vendor lifecycle concepts, Awareness of security, stability, and compliance risks associated with obsolete technology, Coordination and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams, Ability to manage diverse stakeholders with competing priorities, Clear documentation and reporting capability

Ensure proper sequencing of remediation activities to avoid service disruption

Identify and track project risks related to obsolete technologies

and decision points in a timely manner

Support risk acceptance

or remediation decisions where required

Act as the primary coordination point between technology teams

and governance forums

Facilitate project meetings

Communicate project status

and dependencies clearly to stakeholders

Coordinate with vendors on upgrade paths

Track vendor dependencies and delivery commitments

Support procurement and contract activities related to obsolete technology remediation

Maintain project plans

Provide regular status reporting to program leads

or steering committees

Ensure adherence to organizational project management and change control standards

Ensure proper handover to operations or support teams

Validate documentation

and operational acceptance

Close projects with lessons learned and post-implementation review
