What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Data analysis and visualization experience, SQL skills for querying large datasets, Experience working with structured and semi-structured data, Practical experience with CMDB concepts, relationships, and data models, Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) data for hardware and software, Understanding of technology lifecycle states (in use, nearing EOL, EOL, decommissioned), Good understanding of enterprise IT landscapes (applications, infrastructure, platforms, cloud), Familiarity with vendor lifecycle management and support policies, Awareness of security, operational, and compliance risks related to obsolete technology, 5–8+ years of experience in a data analyst or reporting role within IT or technology functions
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, Power BI or Tableau certification, ITIL or IT Asset Management certification is a plus, Experience supporting modernization, risk, lifecycle, or transformation initiatives

Enable self-service analytics
Support the alignment of CMDB data with actual deployed assets
or inaccuracies in configuration and asset records
Drive improvements in asset lifecycle tagging
and criticality classification
Collaborate with ITSM
and platform teams to improve data quality and governance
Provide insights and analysis to stakeholders
Translate complex data into clear
Support business case development and roadmap planning
Define and document data definitions
and reporting standards
Automate data refreshes and reporting pipelines
Identify opportunities to improve lifecycle visibility and predictive risk analysis
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with ITSM, ITAM, and platform teams to improve data quality and governance; Work with cross-functional stakeholders; Provide insights and analysis to domain leads, task force leads, project managers, delivery teams, risk, security, and audit stakeholders
