Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Act as the primary technical advisor for data center technology strategy, guiding design, integration, and execution across infrastructure projects in paragraph format. Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, resilient, and high-performance IT infrastructure and connectivity solutions. Review and validate structured cabling, network architecture, and IT space design, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, security specialists, and vendors to ensure cohesive facility design integration. Evaluate third-party solutions, support technical due diligence, and contribute to procurement and vendor selection decisions. Guide commissioning activities, ensuring systems are validated, operationally ready, and meet defined performance expectations. Develop and maintain technology standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle strategies for current and future data center environments. Advise leadership on emerging technologies such as edge computing, AI integration, and advanced connectivity solutions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred, with 8+ years of experience in data center design, IT infrastructure, or technology consulting. Strong expertise in structured cabling, networking, and enterprise IT systems integration within complex infrastructure environments. Experience working on mission-critical data center projects, ideally in an Owner’s Representative or advisory capacity. Certifications such as RCDD, CCNP/CCIE, CDCDP, or equivalent are highly valued. Deep understanding of industry standards including BICSI, TIA/EIA, IEEE, and Uptime Institute frameworks.
