Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, Experience in digital and system-level architecture and design, RTL development, simulation, and debug (Verilog / SystemVerilog), Systematic problem solving and root-cause analysis, Firmware (FW) bring-up and debug, HW–FW interaction and control flows, FW-driven sequences and failure analysis, Post-silicon bring-up and lab debug, Cross-functional debug with validation and FW teams, Python and scripting for automation, data analysis, debug flows, and productivity improvement, AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate debug, analysis, automation, and documentation, HW–FW–system interactions, Ability to collaborate effectively, Technical direction and influence decisions, Written and verbal communication skills, Produce clear, concise technical documentation and customer-facing explanations
Nice to Have
NAND interfaces, Muxuffer designs, or related ASIC/IP blocks experience, Waveform-based analysis experience, Cross-functional debug with validation and FW teams experience
What You'll Do.
Drive development and productization of next-generation NAND Interface
Take end-to-end technical ownership
and productization of NAND IF
Create and maintain high-quality design and architecture documentation
Perform RTL simulation
Drive resolution of complex functional and performance issues
Own end-to-end problem solving and root-cause analysis
Drive FW bring-up and FW-assisted debug
Support post-silicon bring-up and lab debug
Collaborate with design partners
Implement optimal architectural and implementation solutions
Work with component business units and customers
Ensure smooth integration
Enable successful deployment of SanDisk solutions
and AI-assisted tools
Improve debug efficiency
and overall engineering
Act as a technical leader
Influence architecture and design decisions

You will take end‑to‑end technical ownership across architecture definition, implementation, debug, and customer deployment, supporting both internal enterprise SSD programs and component business customers.
