Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities
Replacing Engine and Vehicle components
Ensuring the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing
Checking and aligning wheels on both axes within given tolerances
Tyre replacement and balancing
Flashing ECU software
Downloading and flashing software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment
Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities
Prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems like: thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /connecting acquisition systems
TIG/MIG welding and machining skills
Test driving the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behavior after parts replacement
Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards
Replacing transmissions and clutches
Troubleshooting / Diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems
Working with repair manuals
Stock management for vehicle spare parts and consumables
