# Job Description Summary: This is a casual position within the Research Applications Laboratory. The person hired into this position will provide technical support for local and remote field sites using electrical, mechanical, data transfer protocol and computing abilities to maintain and upgrade meteorological instrumentation and electrical distributions at each site. Support of each site may include instrument calibrations, routine maintenance and repairs as necessary, installation of new sites, or removal of existing sites as needed. The new hire will provide technical expertise for siting, installing, troubleshooting and removing various meteorological instruments including, but not limited to, temperature, humidity, pressure, wind and snow gauge sensors.
