Eligibility Requirements

Lab-based role, May be required to provide support outside of normal working hours including nights or weekends, Limited domestic and international travel (< 5%) may be required, Role requires ability to work in laboratory environments

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment, Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice to Have

Working knowledge of synthetic chemistry or biologic unit operations, Highly motivated, able to learn rapidly, and demonstrates attention to detail, Experience creating laboratory SOPs and work instructions and process execution according to those records, Ability to prioritize multiple activities and manage ambiguity, Experience using analytical techniques, for example, HPLC/UPLC etc., Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical report writing, presentations, and effective collaboration across teams, Proven ability to analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex technical challenges, Ability to work cross-functionally across disciplines and levels with other PTE scientists, process engineers, analytical chemists, safety and quality representatives

What You'll Do.

Supporting laboratory and administrative operations at The Foundry

Process development activities across multiple modalities including synthetic chemistry

peptides and oligonucleotides

Comply with all health

safety and environmental requirements and procedures

Follow detailed instructions to prepare equipment sets and run experiments including initial set-up

sampling and performing basic at-line analyses

stage and dispensing materials followed by preparation of buffers and solutions for experiments

Decontaminate or inactivate equipment before disassembly

Perform basic maintenance of process equipment and supporting infrastructure

Perform sample analysis to inform experimental plans and next steps

Maintain accurate lab notebooks with accurate descriptions of process steps

observations and results to support process development

Contribute to process troubleshooting and investigations by supporting process deviations

Maintain material inventories across all Foundry laboratories

Inactivate/decontaminate laboratory waste followed by disposal
