Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, 5+ years of hands-on experience in automated material handling systems, preferably within airport or logistics environments, Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airside security clearance

The Technician III is a key contributor to the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) within airport baggage handling operations. This role demands advanced mechatronics expertise across electrical, mechanical, and control systems. The Technician provides hands-on support, system diagnostics, and technical leadership to ensure seamless baggage flow and minimal downtime. This role will support the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Responsibilities: * Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICS components, including ICS elements, diverters, scanners, and third-party equipment used to interface with the system. * Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems using structured troubleshooting methods. * Respond to system interruptions caused by carrier jams, sensor faults, or control logic errors; execute resets and root cause analysis. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with BEUMER Group standards and OEM documentation on the ICS system. * Interface with BEUMER’s High-Level Control (SAC) and PLC systems to monitor performance and execute logic-based interventions. * Inspect system health using diagnostic tools and performance dashboards; recommend optimizations to improve throughput and reliability. * Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, fault trends, and spare part usage in compliance with reporting protocols. * Adhere to all Health,
