What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 21 years of age, Proof of authorization to work in the United States, Must be in possession of a valid A&P Mechanic license, Able to obtain a valid passport, Able to obtain a security badge at Harry Reid International Airport, Ability to perform maintenance duties away from base, Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, interpersonal skills, Must be able to work varied shifts, Lift or carry 50 pounds, unassisted, Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop, Physically access assigned workspace areas
Nice to Have
Boeing/Airbus heavy line maintenance preferred, GIV, GV/G550, 737, 747, 767, A320, A340 experience a plus, Willingness to travel for extended periods
What You'll Do.
Ensure timely and appropriate maintenance for assigned aircraft
Ensure safe operations and compliance with FAA requirements
Perform manufacturer-mandated repairs
Perform calendar and hourly maintenance
Keep aircraft and work areas at highest standards
Perform maintenance from vendors and manufacturers
Supervise operational functions within the department
Ensure compliances with manufacturer requirements
Ensure compliances with aviation maintenance requirements
Launch assigned aircrafts
Recover assigned aircrafts
Supervise guest service delivery
Supervise guest service measurement
Perform pre-flight inspections
Perform post-flight inspections
Clear any discrepancies found during inspection
Perform maintenance in accordance with manufacturers approved methods
Perform maintenance in accordance with current FARS rules
Maintain current working knowledge of procedures
Maintain current working knowledge of parts
Maintain current working knowledge of tools needed for
Maintain current working knowledge of tools needed for
Adhere to inspection system for assigned aircraft
Supervise checking of fuel
Supervise checking of lubricants
Adhere to company policies
Comply with legal requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned
