Job Title: Technician 4 - Supply Position Function: Responsible for the accurate and expedient processing of incoming and outgoing materials for District use. Performs a wide variety of duties using USD 259's financial reporting software, operating large delivery vehicles and equipment, and maintaining extensive records. This position must be capable of performing any duty within the Supply team and complete work as assigned by the Supply Supervisor. Employee Punctuality and Appearance: In order for schools to operate effectively, employees are expected to perform all assigned duties and work all scheduled hours during each designated workday, unless the employee has received approved leave Any deviation from assigned hours must have prior approval from the employee¿s supervisor or building administrator All employees are required to report to work dressed in a manner that reflects a positive image of USD 259 and is appropriate for their position Additional Duties: Assists with additional duties as assigned by the Supply Supervisor or the Supply Chain Director. Equipment: This position requires the ability to use basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. Must always comply with USD 259's guidelines for equipment use. The employee must demonstrate the ability to use various materials handling equipment. Travel: Some travel within district may be required. Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to work indoors in extreme heat and cold and outdoors in inclement weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow Regular attendance required to meet the demands of the position and for effective teamwork Attendance at required meetings Ability to bend, twist, balance, stoop and kneel Lifting of 20-50 pounds and occasional lifting of 50-100 pounds is required Normal work day is from 7:00AM to 3:30PM with occasional overtime as situations dictate Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written Adequatel
