What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent, 3-5 Years working experience in manufacturing environment with machine operation, data collection & analytical skills, Understanding of failure mechanisms, ability to isolate & detect process changes causing machine alarms, Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook), Effective team player with proven relationship building & communication skills, including cross-functionally with Production, Equipment, Yield, and Quality, Senior Level Process Technician, Problem Solving – Proficiency in troubleshooting process controls, process adjustments, data readback from machine, control limits, Communication - Ability to communicate technical information effectively to colleagues and engineers, Safety – understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing environment, Teamwork – Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams, Adaptability - Proficiency in handling emergencies and unexpected equipment failures
Nice to Have
Working experiences in sputter metrology tool and knowledge of Magnetic materials used in HDD would be an added advantage, Macro in excel would be an added advantage
What You'll Do.
Executing process characterization activities
Ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters
Supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments
Perform measurement on characterization / evaluations samples
Carry out trouble shooting on metrology tools
Data compilation using Excel or Power point for measurement samples
Monitor Machine alarms
take appropriate action based on guidelines & instructions provided
Carry out periodic samples house keeping & other tasks assigned by Engineer
Support & cooperate with other department to solve assembly issue /MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
Comply and support EHS policy
Participate company activities such as IMS

As Sputter Process Technician, you will be responsible for executing process characterization activities, ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters, and supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and collaborate effectively; they will demonstrate a willingness to learn, flexibility, creative problem solving, exemplary communication skills and an ability to think on their feet. Candidates must be flexible to work a 12hour Shift Pattern and overtime, as required by the team.
