We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Component DFM Engineering Technician to join our team in Seberang Prai Batu Kawan, Malaysia. * Responsible to review and validate the new component request whether it is conformance to internal process requirements and other DFM criteria. * Responsible to review, validate and buyoff for 2nd/ALT source versus the primary source in term of DFM perspective. * Able to perform DFM assessment on components with respect to packaging structure, process interaction and reliability. * Involve in NUDD assessment focusing on components and could be extended to complete product PCBA level. * Perform Design for Assembly (DfA) & Design for Mechanical Assembly (DfMA) assessment to ensure product meets all assembly criteria with no quality issue. * Establish DfMA framework that extends the coverage to all mechanical aspect including material selection,
