What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic experience, High school diploma or GED required, Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness, Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements, Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record free from points
Nice to Have
Some trade school or equivalent training desired, Prior floor care equipment experience strongly preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform check-ins when equipment is returned
Assist with loading and unloading equipment
Perform full-service maintenance on equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems
Maintain safe work environment
Keep track of rental equipment inventory
Coordinate deliveries
pick-ups and service calls
Maintain warehouse area
Source and manage inventory of parts
Complete equipment service records
Ensure decals are replaced and equipment is cleaned
Operate company vehicle safely
Maintain company vehicle
Report defects or variations to supervisor
Maintain and track company tools
Oversee and maintain wash bay area
Communicate professionally with customers
Complete paperwork for deliveries
Direct customers to sign appropriate
Deliver and install rented equipment
Train authorized operator on safe use
Implement proper and safe procedures
Maintain accurate records of equipment
Be on call for emergency service
