We’re looking for an intermediate Technical Writer who enjoys turning complex product concepts into clear, practical content to join a team of experienced writers as we continue to scale MaintainX’s documentation. What you’ll do: Write, review, and publish content for the MaintainX Help Center, including user guides, feature documentation, and release notes Work alongside senior writers on larger projects, incorporating feedback to strengthen your craft and align with team standards Maintain and improve existing content for accuracy, clarity, and usability Contribute to in-product content and documentation that supports frontline users Collaborate with teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success Contribute to documentation processes and help keep content organized and up to date Use AI tools to support and accelerate your writing workflow About you: 2–3 years of experience writing technical or product documentation, ideally in a SaaS environment Strong writing and editing skills—you can explain complex ideas in a simple, straightforward way User-focused: you think about how real customers (especially frontline workers) will use and understand the content Comfortable learning new tools and working with product and engineering teams Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency Able to manage your own workload and follow through on deliverables in a collaborative environment Comfortable using AI tools, and curious about how these tools are evolving Extra consideration
