What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, Valid electrical certification, as required by local regulations, 3-5 years of experience in technical support, system commissioning, or building automation, Proven experience in construction or project-based environments, technical knowledge of motorized shading systems, automation, and control solutions, Ability to prepare technical documentation and system schematics, Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, Full professional fluency in Czech, communicative - level proficiency in English
Nice to Have
Experience working with installers, system integrators, engineering offices, or façade companies is a advantage
What You'll Do.
act as a key technical reference for smart shading and building automation projects
ensures the high-quality technical execution of Somfy solutions in complex building environments by supporting specification
and after-sales activities
Prepare technical specifications for motorized shading
and building automation solutions
Support project teams during design
Design system layouts
and technical documentation (AutoCAD or similar)
Commission systems on site and provide hands‑on troubleshooting and functional testing
Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing to partners
Act as a high‑level technical expert for after‑sales support and issue escalation
Support integration with BMS systems (KNX
Contribute to business development by identifying project opportunities and supporting early‑stage specification
Work closely with Sales
Document activities and insights in CRM systems and contribute to continuous improvement
