What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. DOE Q-level security clearance, U. S. Citizenship, Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, Experience with handling procedures for pressure and vacuum systems, Experience providing administrative and technical leadership, Experience in mechanical/electrical engineering project leadership, Knowledge of and/or experience with Work Control processes, Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in a high-consequence safety environment, Solving complex problems in a multi-tasked environment, often with minimal instruction and direction, Advanced verbal and written communication skills, Ability to periodically travel to Nuclear Security and DoD Sites

In this role, you will perform a complete range of both programmatic activities and administrative supervision in support of engineering operations. Primary work activities are conducted in the B131 High Bay facility, located at LLNL’s main site and may involve periodic travel to other NNSA/DOE/DoD sites. The position is in the Defense Technologies Engineering Division (DTED) within the Engineering Directorate, supporting the Strategic Deterrence (SD) Program. This position will be filled at the appropriate level based on knowledge, skills, and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional responsibilities, outlined below, may be assigned at the higher level. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.
