So, join our team and feel like you’re part of something bigger. **About your team** You’ll be joining the Sonata Product Development team, which focuses on building and enhancing cloud-native platform capabilities to support our growing direct and intermediated businesses in the region. **About your role** This role is for an experienced Technical Specialist Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Kubernetes, and Cloud technologies. The successful candidate will work within the product development team, gaining a deep understanding of platform services and contributing to key architectural and design decisions for ongoing strategic initiatives. The candidate should have strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native design patterns, and be capable of guiding development teams on engineering best practices, scalability, resiliency, and performance improvements. When required, the specialist will also be involved in resolving complex, business-critical production issues—placing them in a frontline position with significant stakeholder interaction. This demands a high degree of ownership, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The role requires excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to collaborate with business users, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
