ROLE OVERVIEW The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a customer-facing role that combines strong construction scheduling knowledge with strong communication and technical aptitude. This role is designed for experienced construction professionals who have built and managed project schedules and are comfortable explaining how work gets planned, sequenced, and executed. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with Sales to help prospective customers understand how Planera fits into their existing scheduling and planning workflows. This role does not require prior software sales experience. However, it does require strong construction and scheduling experience, comfort with modern software tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with construction professionals at all levels of an organization. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS - Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or heavy civil construction - Hands-on experience building and managing project schedules - Background That is a Strong Fit - Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager - Superintendent with strong scheduling involvement - Construction operations roles with direct schedule ownership - Strong working knowledge of: - Primavera P6 (preferred) - Microsoft Project - Solid understanding of: - CPM scheduling principles - Project sequencing and dependencies - How schedules are used to manage projects in practice - Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new software - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to engage effecti
