What They're Looking For.
Must Have
college diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and lived or professional experience, five years of experience in the concrete industry, ACI Field Technician Certification Program Grade 1, demonstrated experience in developing and growing a sales territory, functional computer literacy, ability to complete required Sika Canada Inc. training, written and verbal communication skills, effective organizational, time management, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills, ability to manage competing priorities and perform in dynamic environments, collaborative, team‑oriented approach, negotiation and relationship‑building skills, self‑motivation and leadership potential, willingness to travel frequently within Central Ontario, with occasional travel to Northern Ontario, ability to handle products weighing up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
ACI Field Technician Certification Program Grade 1 is considered an candidates without this certification who demonstrate transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do.
Carry out sales activities within a designated territory
Contribute to sales planning
Monitor performance against targets
Collaborate with customers to develop product testing programs
Apply Sika Canada’s operational policies and strategies
Develop and manage the assigned sales territory
Work with customers to create total cost optimization programs
Support visibility and inclusion of Sika products in specifications
Stay informed of competitive activity
Ensure effective territorial coverage
Perform other related duties
