travel and support customers in Atlantic Canada as required, Travel to and throughout the assigned territory to visit customers, perform site visits, and support sales activities, including occasional travel and overnight stays as required, primarily to the Atlantic provinces., Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout Eastern Canada (including occasional overnight stays)., Ability to obtain safety certifications (H2S, WHMIS, First Aid, etc. ) and site access requirements as needed., Drug and alcohol testing may be required for customer site access.

Must Have
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant technical sales experience., Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools., Ability to present information in front of an audience., Well-developed problem solving and time management skills., Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision., Proven ability to plan and prioritize work effectively within a large geographic territory., Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout Eastern Canada (including occasional overnight stays)., Ability to obtain safety certifications (H2S, WHMIS, First Aid, etc. ) and site access requirements as needed., Drug and alcohol testing may be required for customer site access.
Nice to Have
Experience in rotating equipment, pumps, seals, bearings, or related industrial sectors is preferred., Previous experience managing a large geographic territory or working with remote clients and distributors is an asset., Existing network of contacts in the oil and gas / petrochemical industry would be an asset.

improve overall equipment reliability and satisfy customer needs
Identify and secure sales opportunities for all products and/or services offered by John Crane
Develop and maintain customer relationships across both end users and channel partners within a defined territory
Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships throughout the entire sales this includes managing leads
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand John Crane market share.
Identify and maintain a relationship with prospect/customer influencers and decision makers.
Collects and evaluates customer seal install base
reporting these findings using John Crane reliability management software.
Prepare technical reports and proposals for customer solutions and inventory optimization.
Communicate professionally with customers
and vendors to provide quotes
and technical assistance.

Collaborate closely with John Crane technical and engineering teams to proactively provide customers with reliability improvement solutions.; Collaborate with the Stoney Creek, Ontario office for internal alignment.
