Minimum 4-7 years relevant external experience in technical sales, Sound knowledge and understanding of packaging and labelling applications including active problem solving of technical issues raised by customers, Willing to travel within the region, Diploma / Degree in Packaging or Printing / Equivalent with techno commercial experience, Valid driver’s licence, Own reliable vehicle
Nice to Have
Understanding of the local market and customer base will be a plus, Experience in B2B level interaction with converters and end users are desirable, Relevant qualification/experience in Flexo, Offset and Digital technologies or related industries would be an advantage
What You'll Do.
Engage daily with existing customer base
Promote sales and distribution with network
Increase market share by delivering service
Conduct market and customer needs analysis
Conceptualise new strategies to achieve sales targets
Follow up on new sales leads
Build detailed sales pipeline
Analyse potential growth opportunities
Engage with appointed distributors
Increase footprint and customer base
Actively engage with converters
Identify new opportunities
Increase opportunity pipeline
Provide input to S&OP meetings
Create and manage customer value prop plan
Align and execute strategic sales plan
Maintain minimum frequency of four customer field visits per day
Ensure all visit reports are updated daily
Supply management with reports on customer needs
Keep abreast of product applications
Consult with marketing and technical service areas
Conduct sales activities
Extract value from customers
Take informed decisions on pricing
Communicate with clients consistently
Monitor overdue balances
Support credit control efforts
Provide on-site technical support
Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints
Diagnose problems and identify solutions
Drive proactive marketing of Advantage Services
Maintain records of technical visits
Collaborate with Product and BD team
Identify Converter Opportunities
