Must Have
Typically 4+ years of relevant experience., Progress towards multiple NASA and IPC industry standard certifications., Completion of basic GD&T training., Understanding of technical schematics and documents., Understanding of electrical wiring concepts., Functional use and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel., Ability to understand and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance., Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs.
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field., Advanced certifications in quality assurance or inspection (e. g. , ASQ Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Engineer, or Certified Quality Inspector)., Working towards Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certifications., Proficiency with standard inspection tools and equipment, including hand inspection tools and equipment., Developing statistical process control (SPC) techniques and data analysis., Basic familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and equipment., Experience with quality management software and databases, such as SAP QM or similar., Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment and techniques, including oscilloscopes and multimeters., Experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense, with an understanding of industry-specific standards and regulations including AS9100., Proven ability to provide technical guidance to Level & II inspectors., An active U. S. Security Clearance is preferred.

This role involves conducting visual, detailed dimensional and electrical inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. The inspector will interpret complex prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and certifications.
