Eligibility Requirements

Relocation provided, Travel expected up to 5% of the time, Interviews will include a technical assessment, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident (i. e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum, Blue’s Standard Background Check, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation, Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training, Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

MS Project, Jira, Primavera P6, BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field, 5+ years of demonstrated experience in relevant areas of engineering operations applied to spacecraft systems and environments, design/build/test project methodology experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and Cost Account Management such as Earned Value Management (EVM), team leadership, people management skills, Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships, Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to Have

MBA or Masters in Radio Frequency Engineering or related Engineering or Scientific field, Experience with space hardware procurement and supplier management, Experience with flight hardware development and qualification

Manage technical project of RF component development

Apply project management expertise

Develop efficient solutions

Assist RF Systems team

Prepare for program reviews

Manage key operating metrics

Assist in developing RF Systems product roadmaps

Work with internal and external customers

Interface with external vendors

Provide technical leadership

Monitor technical progress

Communicate progress to leadership

Utilize engineering and business judgment

Support Agile-based planning

Collaborate with other Technical Project Managers

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work with internal and external customers; Interface with external vendors and suppliers; Provide technical leadership of the highest caliber as you coordinate for the RF Systems Director with each of the IPTs and supporting Blue Origin business units; Collaborate with other RF Systems Technical Project Managers to establish operational best practices and streamline across the various IPTs
