What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree, minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience, leadership and communication skills, technical and non-technical audiences, written and oral form, experience giving professional, formal presentations using PowerPoint or equivalent software, willing to travel up to 50%, able to meet customer security requirements, background check by Federal Authorities
Nice to Have
Experience with installation/construction for communications, automation, surveillance, or terminal infrastructure projects, Projects supporting national airspace or other mission-critical operations, CMAA, PMP or PgMP certification
What You'll Do.
Lead implementation of terminal and communications system site infrastructure
management of installation and integration
Establish project schedule and budget
monitor progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements
Coordinate cross-functional teams
Establish relationships with high level management
Serve as the primary FAA interface
readiness and execution
Foster successful working relationships
Develop project documents
support quality control

Collaborate with Program Management
determine number of hours required
successful completion of project tasks
Anticipate project staffing needs
identify and interview available personnel
make staffing assignments
accordance with schedule requirements

Responsible for the profitability of each element of the project and all the financial elements of the project. Responsible for the scope development, scope management, and construction/installation performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. Plans and defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops indepth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. Typically manages multiple projects up to $20-50 million in total. Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Project Manager to manage the delivery of various projects under the BNATCS Program within the Parsons T5 Program. This role ensures that communication and terminal systems are implemented effectively, meeting FAA requirements for reliability, performance, and security. T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options.
