What They're Looking For.
Must Have
practical understanding of production environments, technical background, preferably with a craft-based foundation combined with further education, degree as Maskinmester (Marine Engineer), Mechanical Engineer, or another relevant technical education, experience working close to production, assembly, or manufacturing operations, comfortable working in the intersection between development and operations, basic understanding of machine safety and the Machinery Directive, Speak and write English confidently

**Technical Project Manager, Assembly Center of Excellence – VELUX - Østbirk** Step into a role where you will contribute to the development of robust and efficient assembly solutions. With your technical insight and hands-on understanding of production environments, you will play a key role in developing and improving production cells and assembly setups that support innovation, cost efficiency, and successful New Product Launches (NPL). **Meet your future team** You will join Center of Excellence (CoE) Assembly in Østbirk, where we work at the intersection of operations and development. The CoE Assembly is a global team currently located in Østbirk. We are a team of project managers and technical specialists focusing on the future Assembly setup in VELUX. We have a holistic view on the entire supply chain to make sure the assembly line is as efficiency as possible, safe for our people and according to our process standard and quality requirement. Our focus is on NPL projects and on cost out on both new and existing production lines. The function focuses on developing and improving assembly solutions in close collaboration with production, ensuring that ideas and concepts become technically feasible and practical solutions on the shop floor. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders based in Denmark, while also supporting selected assembly sites in Europe when relevant. **What we offer** You will work hands-on with the development, improvement, and implementation of production and assembly cells, contributing with both technical expertise and practical understanding.
