Full Job Description
The Central Science Team within Amazon's People Experience and Technology org (PXTCS) uses economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to proactively identify mechanisms and process improvements which simultaneously improve Amazon and the lives, well-being, and the value of work to Amazonians. We are an interdisciplinary team, which combines the talents of science and engineering to develop and deliver solutions that measurably achieve this goal. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own and drive the Automated Causal Evaluation (ACE) platform — a self-service tool that enables program managers across Amazon to design and evaluate the causal impact of employee programs using A/B testing, matching, and synthetic difference-in-differences methods. ACE has evaluated 280+ programs across 130+ users and is expanding rapidly with new capabilities including a GenAI chatbot, API integrations, a searchable repository of past evaluations, and an ROI recommendations engine. You will work at the intersection of the ACE Science Team — economists, data scientists, and applied scientists who develop and maintain ACE's causal inference models — and the ACE Tech Team — UX researchers, software development engineers, and product managers who build and ship the platform. Your role is to ensure these teams deliver a cohesive product on time, coordinating across science development, engineering implementation, UX research, and customer-facing launches. You will manage the end-to-end program lifecycle for ACE's roadmap: scoping new capabilities with the science and product teams, translating scientific methodology into engineering requirements, developing detailed plans with milestones and dependencies, tracking execution across multiple parallel workstreams, and driving resolution when science and engineering tradeoffs arise. You will own the release cadence for ACE's phased UI launches, API rollouts, and model migrations, ensuring each release meet
