Full Job Description

Devices and Services Security, HW Sec team is responsible for ensuring devices such as Fire TV, Kindle, Ring, eero protect customer data and build customer trust. We define security bar for different devices and ensure those devices meet the security bar before they are launched for customer use. You will help improve builder journey through Secure Hardware Development Lifecycle and ensure security engineers are enabling business ship securely without adding friction for the business. Your broad responsibilities will include engaging with various devices business, understand their roadmap and enable them to ship securely but based on business needs. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to influence others - you will work closely with teams across the devices business and devices security, including engineering, business leaders, and legal. You must be hands on, understand hardware security concepts, and be able to drive mitigations and risk acceptance. We are looking for a critical thinker who is also technically adept and thrives on solving challenges in partnership with teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than many programs and display high levels of bias for action, invent & simplify, learn & be curious, dive deep and ownership.
