Full Job Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of electrical, mechanical, structural, and hardware engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Fleet Remediation Engineering specializes in retrofit efforts that span several engineering disciplines and is applied across a variety of data center infrastructure designs. We align stakeholders to place a high focus on engineering design quality, implementation, and delivery of the most advanced, most difficult, and most ambiguous infrastructure retrofit efforts within the existing AWS data center community. By continuously mapping priorities defined via AWS’ Capital Improvement Prioritization Program (CIPP), we invest the proper time and effort into projects that achieve the largest bottom-line impact for the business. We are passionate about ensuring our latest innovations are implemented into our existing fleet to provide maximum benefit on behalf of our customers, and get our energy through challenge, innovation and design. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support our data center retrofit programs that modernize and improve our extensive data center
