AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Key job responsibilities - Engage with internal and external Amazon customers and support teams to gain insights and capture critical mechanical, electrical and utility needs for the business today and in the future - Utilize those insights to identify specific program requirements, create a program vision, and own the product development roadmap for critical segments of the data center physical infrastructure - Coordinate between multiple teams to develop compelling business cases to substantiate business value, define product prioritization, and outline budget and resources required to implement product roadmaps - Drive continuous advancements and improvements within our data center designs, and communicate technical solutions to Senior Management - Own and drive the complete product lifecycle from idea conception through implementation and wide scale deployment to eventual deprecation - Develop product features and deployment strategies to improve performance, reliability, sustainability and effi
